Tallyhive works today as a web app on your phone or laptop. No bank connection, no spreadsheets. Here is what happens from sign up to the end of your first month.

Create your account

In the web app, with just an email and a password.

Make it yours

A short setup: your name, currency, light or dark, categories, people, income sources and banks. Every step can be skipped.

Add as you go

Add an expense and check what is left: the amount, a category and who it was for. Add income when salary or payments arrive.

Plan and check

Set a budget once, copy it each month, and open the dashboard to see what is left.

Getting started

Before you sign up

Do I need to connect my bank?

No. You add expenses yourself, which takes a few seconds, and Tallyhive never touches your bank account or card details.

Is there a mobile app?

The web app is available now. iPhone and Android apps are in development. The web app works in any browser, on a phone or a laptop.

How long does setup take?

Setup is short. You pick a currency, the categories you use, the people you spend on, your income sources and banks. Every step can be skipped and changed later.

Which currencies can I use?

50 of them, including Rs, AED, SAR, USD, GBP and EUR. Pick one during setup or change it in Profile. Amounts you already entered are not converted.

Can I track spending for each family member?

Yes. Add the people in your household and choose who each expense was for. Budgets, filters and the dashboard can all be broken down by person.

Do I need an internet connection?

Yes. Your entries are saved to your account as you go, so they are there on every device you sign in on.
